Busan City Selects 39 Teams... Supporting Youth Social Participation
The Department of Emergency Medical Technology at Dong-Eui Institute of Technology (President Kim Youngdo, Department Head Park Youngsoo) was recently selected for the '2024 Youth Community Activity Support Project.'
This project, hosted by Busan Metropolitan City, aims to foster a diverse foundation for youth activities and promote youth participation in society by supporting voluntary activities based on shared interests among young people. This year, the city has selected and is supporting a total of 39 teams.
The Golden Time Team from the Department of Emergency Medical Technology at Dong-Eui Institute of Technology participated in this event and was selected for the talent donation category of the Youth Community Activity Support Project. The team will receive a grant of 1.5 million KRW from the Busan Youth Platform and will operate the project until November.
Kim Sehun, the representative of the Golden Time Team, said, "As a member of the Department of Emergency Medical Technology at Dong-Eui Institute of Technology, I have always participated in volunteer work at schools, public health centers, and shelters for the underprivileged in the local community. I am delighted that being selected for this project will provide an opportunity to contribute even more to the development of the community through expanded volunteer activities involving juniors and students from other schools."
Park Youngsoo, Head of the Department of Emergency Medical Technology at Dong-Eui Institute of Technology, stated, "I hope that the students of our department will gain more experience and motivation, and the university will continue to provide full support for their voluntary volunteer activities."
The Golden Time Team at Dong-Eui Science University is providing medical education volunteer services.
