Hugel recently announced on the 24th that it held the ‘GLAM for Thailand 2024’ event targeting healthcare professionals (HCPs) in Thailand.
GLAM, an abbreviation for Global Aesthetic Masterclass, is an overseas healthcare professional invitation program established by Hugel since 2022 to strengthen global competitiveness. This event was conducted mainly through theoretical lectures, with about 30 local healthcare professionals from Thailand participating. Minjin Oh, director of Araskin Clinic, who served as a speaker, introduced various toxin injection techniques for different facial areas under the theme of ‘Facial Contouring and Rejuvenation Using Estox (domestic product name: Botulex).’ After the lecture, a Q&A session was held to address the participants’ questions regarding procedures and products. The event drew high satisfaction from attendees by covering not only immediately applicable procedural know-how but also region-specific aesthetic surgery trends.
Thailand is a powerhouse in aesthetic surgery, with non-surgical cosmetic procedures accounting for 25% of all treatments. Hugel has already entered the Thai markets for botulinum toxin, hyaluronic acid (HA) fillers, and PDO sutures. A Hugel representative stated, “We organized this event to further strengthen the company’s and products’ competitiveness in the rapidly growing Thai market,” adding, “We will continue to carry out various sales and marketing activities to expand our influence within the Southeast Asian market, focusing on Thailand.”
