World's No.1 Tank and Cabin Manufacturer
Clients Include HD Hyundai Group, Samsung Heavy Industries, and Hanwha Ocean
Capacity Secured to Match Shipbuilding Boom Cycle

Sejin Heavy Industries broke its 52-week high after two trading days. It also surpassed the 2022 peak. This appears to be continuously highlighted due to the shipbuilding boom and the fact that it is the only company in Korea supplying ultra-large shipbuilding equipment to the three major domestic shipbuilders based on the world's largest shipbuilding equipment capacity.

[Featured Stock] Sejin Heavy Industries Hits Highest Price Since 2022... Highlighted as World's No.1 Supplier to the 'Big 3 Shipbuilders'

As of 9:30 AM on the 24th, Sejin Heavy Industries is trading at 8,920 KRW, up 7.47% (620 KRW) from the previous day. It not only exceeded the 52-week high of 8,640 KRW recorded on the 20th but also reached the highest point in the past three years. The highest stock price of Sejin Heavy Industries since 2022 was 8,900 KRW, recorded in August 2022.

Sejin Heavy Industries is the world's number one manufacturer of tanks and ship cabins. Located near the Hyundai Heavy Industries Group, it has grown by receiving a stable supply of orders. Most domestic and international equipment suppliers other than Sejin Heavy Industries went bankrupt during the shipbuilding downturn. Yang Hyung-mo, a researcher at DS Investment & Securities, said, "Although shipyards can technically internalize tank and cabin production, outsourcing to equipment suppliers is advantageous in terms of cost and yard efficiency," adding, "The investment point is customer diversification."

Sejin Heavy Industries' largest customers are HD Hyundai Heavy Industries and HD Hyundai Korea Shipbuilding & Offshore Engineering. Having supplied the HD Hyundai Group for decades, Sejin Heavy Industries recently became able to supply other 'Big 3' shipbuilders, Hanwha Ocean and Samsung Heavy Industries, which were previously difficult to supply. It has already delivered initial tank orders to Samsung Heavy Industries and secured Hanwha Ocean as a new customer for cabin items, establishing itself as the world's number one shipbuilding equipment company and the only domestic company supplying equipment to the Big 3 shipbuilders.

Sejin Heavy Industries' headquarters site spans 150,000 pyeong (approximately 495,867 square meters). It can record annual sales of 400 to 450 billion KRW. It invested 18 billion KRW in 2022 and 45 billion KRW last year to modernize operations and acquire new factories. Through this, it is expected to expand production capacity by more than 20%. Sales exceeding 500 billion KRW can be anticipated, and it has secured capacity to handle volumes when the big cycle arrives. Additionally, it can utilize a 100,000 pyeong (approximately 330,578 square meters) site owned by its affiliates in the Gangyang-ubong area, boasting the world's largest equipment production capacity.
