Eastar Jet Introduces Three Consecutive Aircraft Ahead of Summer Peak Season

Next Month, Total Routes Expanded from 14 to 24

Eastar Jet is consecutively introducing three aircraft to prepare for the summer peak season. Through this, it plans to significantly expand its routes.


On the 23rd, Eastar Jet announced that it introduced the 11th Boeing B737-800 aircraft on the 21st.


As a result, Eastar Jet now has a total of 11 aircraft, consisting of seven B737-800s and four B737-8s. Next month, the 12th and 13th aircraft will be introduced after completing the airworthiness inspection. By the end of the year, two more aircraft will be added, expanding the fleet to a total of 15.


The newly introduced aircraft will be deployed to Japan's Sapporo and Okinawa, Thailand's Chiang Mai, and Vietnam's Phu Quoc. Through this, the current routes of three domestic and 11 international destinations will be expanded to a total of 24 routes next month.


An Eastar Jet official stated, "We will expand consumer choices by increasing the supply of various routes during the summer vacation season."
