"The Loyalty Competition Among Lee Jae-myung's Bodyguards Intensifies"
The People Power Party criticized the Democratic Party of Korea on the 22nd for holding a legislative hearing alone in the National Assembly's Legislation and Judiciary Committee to enact the 'Special Prosecutor Act for Chae Sang-byeong' and passing the special prosecutor law, calling it "merely a loyalty competition aimed at Representative Lee Jae-myung."

Spokesperson Ho Joon-seok said in a statement, "The so-called loyal troops and bodyguards competing fiercely day by day to shield Representative Lee Jae-myung are intensifying," expressing this view.
Spokesperson Ho pointed out, "The passed special prosecutor law allows the Democratic Party and the Innovation Party of Jo Guk to recommend special prosecutor candidates," adding, "The toxic clauses of the special prosecutor law submitted to the 21st National Assembly have become even more severe."
He also criticized the Democratic Party's conduct during the hearing held the previous day, where former Minister of National Defense Lee Jong-seop and former Marine Corps 1st Division Commander Lim Seong-geun were summoned as witnesses, saying, "The attitude of the Democratic Party members was sheer arrogance," and "Their basic attitude toward the witnesses was 'bullying' and 'mocking.'"
Spokesperson Ho further claimed that the Democratic Party's push to impeach key prosecutors who led investigations related to Representative Lee, including the Ssangbangwool North Korea remittance case, was "a typical abuse of legislative power to shield Lee Jae-myung."
