At 1:49 PM on the 22nd, the Korea Meteorological Administration reported an earthquake of magnitude 2.0 occurred in the sea area 41 km southwest of Seogwipo-si, Jeju.

The epicenter was located at 32.97 degrees north latitude and 126.28 degrees east longitude, with a depth of 16 km.

The Korea Meteorological Administration predicted "there will be no earthquake damage."
