Discussion on ICT-Based Future Mobility Cooperation
'Glocal 30 Co-Growth Agreement' Also Signed
Dongmyung University and Hanyang University ERICA have agreed to cooperate in education and the Glocal University 30 initiative in the field of future mobility.
Dongmyung University (President Jeon Ho-hwan) announced on the 22nd that it visited Hanyang University ERICA (President Lee Kijeong) on the 20th and held discussions on 'mutual cooperation in the ICT-based future mobility sector.'
During this meeting, the two universities also signed a 'Glocal Co-Growth Agreement' to successfully promote the Glocal University 30 initiative. Since 2012, Dongmyung University and Hanyang University have been collaborating on the development of joint programs, personnel exchanges, and the utilization of educational environments for mutual advancement.
After being selected as the first HUNIC in 2004, Dongmyung University has been running the LINC3.0 project for 21 years. From 2017 to 2021, Dongmyung University led the nationwide university field training HUB program, providing field training opportunities to six universities, including Hanyang University. In addition, Dongmyung University has researched ways to vitalize the project through best practice presentations with nine regional universities, including Hanyang University.

In 2022, Dongmyung University and Hanyang University participated in the Busan Jisanhak EXPO with the 'Eco-friendly Semiconductor Process ICC,' establishing joint research and cooperation plans. In 2023, they co-hosted a startup competition utilizing GPT-AI with the Hanyang University ERICA Startup Education Center, researching entrepreneurship education and the application of AI technology.

At the 'Super-Region CROSS Field Training Council Workshop' held in 2023 and 2024, the two universities explored ways to strengthen the sharing and collaboration of field training programs. This workshop, hosted by ten universities including Hanyang University ERICA, focused on expanding field training by sharing winter field training institutions and introducing best practices from each university.
Through the Glocal University project, Dongmyung University has established a Future Mobility School with a capacity of 200 students, presenting experimental and groundbreaking educational models such as the 'Three-None Do-ing Education,' admission without a declared major, a three-semester Co-Op system, and customized education using Edutech (HTHT), thereby creating innovative cases in Korean university education.
