On Saturday the 22nd, the whole country will be mostly cloudy, with rain expected mainly in the southern regions and Jeju Island.
Due to the influence of the stationary front until the 23rd, very heavy and substantial rainfall is expected mainly in the southern regions and Jeju Island.
Some parts of the metropolitan area, including Seoul, will feel hot with a maximum apparent temperature of 33 degrees Celsius or higher.
Rain will begin in the Jeolla region and Jeju Island from early morning on the 22nd, expanding to the Chungcheong region and other southern areas by the morning. Most of this rain will stop by the morning of the day after tomorrow, but in Jeju Island, it may continue until the afternoon in some places.

From morning to night, occasional rain will fall in Seoul, Incheon, southern Gyeonggi, the northern west coast, and southern Gangwon. In other parts of the metropolitan area, raindrops less than 0.1 mm will fall. In the southern Chungcheong region, southern areas, and Jeju Island, there may be gusts of wind accompanied by thunder and lightning.
Daytime temperatures will drop by about 3 to 6 degrees compared to the previous day, remaining similar to the average (24~29 degrees Celsius), but many places, especially in the central regions, will rise to around 30 degrees. Due to high humidity, the maximum apparent temperature will be 31 degrees or higher, making it feel hot.
In some parts of Seoul and Gyeonggi Province where heatwave warnings are in effect, the maximum apparent temperature will be around 33 degrees Celsius, which is very high.
The morning low temperature will be between 20 and 23 degrees Celsius, and the daytime high temperature will be around 24 to 30 degrees Celsius.

Meanwhile, from the morning, winds on Jeju Island and the southern coast of Jeollanam-do, and from the afternoon on the southern coast of Gyeongsangnam-do, will gradually become very strong with gusts exceeding 70 km/h (20 m/s), raising the possibility of strong wind warnings being issued. Therefore, special attention should be paid to the safety of facilities and prevention of accidents.
Fine dust levels are predicted to be between 'Good' and 'Moderate' across all regions.
