RXC (CEO Han-ik Yoo), the operator of the retail media platform PRIZM, recently conducted a promotion live event for ‘Cassia Sokcho,’ which surpassed 2.2 billion KRW in total transaction amount within about an hour of sales starting. Additionally, the transaction amount per minute during the live exceeded 300 million KRW, and the total live views reached 50,000, achieving record-breaking results.
This promotion is scheduled to continue until the 25th of this month, so the overall transaction amount is expected to increase further.
Cassia Sokcho, which hosted the live event, is a premium resort that opened earlier this month. Cassia is a brand of Banyan Group, a Singapore hotel resort group celebrating its 30th anniversary this year, and this is the first time the brand has been introduced in Korea. Cassia Sokcho offers a variety of gourmet dining experiences, high-end relaxation spaces, and community facilities. Notably, Cassia Sokcho has attracted significant attention as it was designed by architect Kim Chan-jung, who was selected as one of the ‘20 World Architects to Watch’ by Wallpaper magazine in the UK.
Previously, PRIZM has led collaborations with newly opened hotels, showcasing differentiated product offerings. For example, in an exclusive collaboration with the 5-star hotel ‘Amber Purehill & Resort Jeju,’ PRIZM sold out rooms priced over 600,000 KRW per night, totaling 1.2 billion KRW. Additionally, PRIZM conducted the first live promotion collaboration with the Ananti brand at ‘Ananti at Busan,’ recording nearly 1 billion KRW in transactions within an hour. PRIZM’s strengths in high-sensitivity, high-definition short-form videos and live content captured the sophisticated interiors and cozy spaces of top-tier hotels, contributing to the success of these promotions.
Moreover, PRIZM has attracted industry attention by continuously securing collaborations with high-end hotels that previously did not conduct promotions. Notably, PRIZM launched live promotions with ‘Seoul Shilla Hotel,’ a leading luxury hotel in Korea, and the live promotion at Grand Hyatt Seoul surpassed 1.6 billion KRW in transactions within an hour, receiving great love from consumers. PRIZM has also achieved consecutive successful promotions with conservative top-tier hotels such as ‘Parnas Hotel Jeju,’ ‘Sagewood Hongcheon,’ and ‘Phinx Podo Hotel,’ earning continuous requests for collaboration.
PRIZM is also actively expanding into the travel sector. Last month, through the overseas and unique travel specialized program ‘IN trip Live,’ PRIZM introduced reasonable ‘value-for-money’ products for free travel to popular resorts such as Nha Trang and Phu Quoc in Vietnam. This live promotion, launched in collaboration with various travel influencers, also recorded remarkable results by surpassing 1 billion KRW in transaction amount.
