SC Jeil Bank, Special Interest Rate Event Up to 5.2% on Dollar Time Deposits

For First-Time Customers Joining by the 28th
Recruitment Limit of 20 Million USD

SC First Bank announced that it is conducting a promotion until the 28th, offering a special interest rate of up to 5.2% per annum (before tax) for customers who open a 3-month US dollar time deposit.

The promotion targets first-time customers who open a foreign currency time deposit of between 10,000 USD (approximately 13.82 million KRW) and 100,000 USD through SC First Bank branches. The recruitment limit is 20 million USD, and the event will end early once the limit is reached. Customers who exchange Korean won at the branch to open a new account will also receive a 100% preferential exchange rate benefit (based on the telegraphic transfer selling rate at the time of deposit subscription) on the deposit amount.

A special interest rate event is also being held simultaneously for Choice Foreign Currency Demand Deposits, which allow free deposits and withdrawals. This applies to first-time customers who open an account with between 10,000 USD and 300,000 USD at SC First Bank branches. Customers depositing between 10,000 USD and less than 50,000 USD will receive a special interest rate of 4.0%, those depositing between 50,000 USD and less than 100,000 USD will receive 4.2%, and those depositing between 100,000 USD and 300,000 USD will receive 4.5% for two months from the subscription date. The recruitment limit is 30 million USD.

If the average balance over the past month is 5,000 USD or more, one overseas remittance fee will be waived. If the average balance over the past two months is 10,000 USD or more, one foreign currency cash handling fee within the average balance range will also be waived.
