The candidate for the People Power Party's vice-chairperson in the second half of the Seoul Metropolitan Council will be decided through a runoff vote between Floor Leader Choi Hojung (3-term) and Vice-Chairman Nam Changjin (2-term).
The 75 council members affiliated with the People Power Party in the Seoul Metropolitan Council held a vote on the afternoon of the 19th at 1:30 PM for the second half chairperson candidates. Since no candidate secured a majority in the first round, it was decided to hold a runoff vote between candidates Choi and Nam.
The vice-chairperson candidate will be decided through a runoff vote between Councilors Kim Youngcheol and Lee Jonghwan.
Meanwhile, Councilor Lee Seongbae was elected as the floor leader.
