Haman County Holds 2024 First Half 'Tap Water Evaluation Committee' Meeting

Improving Tap Water Trust and Drinking Rate ... Thorough Water Quality Management Measures

Haman County in Gyeongnam announced on the 19th that it held the "2024 First Half Haman County Tap Water Evaluation Committee" at the Chilseo Water Purification Plant's PR audiovisual room, with about 10 participants including tap water evaluation committee members and related public officials.

At the meeting, there was an in-depth discussion on thorough water quality management measures to improve the reliability and drinking rate of tap water. The county also announced that all tap water quality test results were deemed "suitable."

Kim Jongrae, head of the county waterworks and sewage office, said, "We will thoroughly review and actively reflect the various opinions proposed at this committee meeting to do our best to provide clear and safe tap water that citizens can drink with peace of mind."

Meanwhile, the Tap Water Evaluation Committee is held twice a year and works to provide clean and safe tap water by offering advice on tap water quality inspections and the operation and management of water supply facilities.
