Gyeonggi Housing and Urban Corporation (GH) has concluded a two-week schedule for the ‘GH Basecamp (Silicon Valley)’ event, held to support the global expansion of startups within Pangyo Techno Valley 1 and 2.
GH Basecamp is a project by GH that supports investment attraction activities in Silicon Valley, USA, targeting five Pangyo-based companies aiming to enter overseas markets: Mangoslab, Celtasquare, Exosystems, JL Standard, and Fliption Korea.
Together with these five companies, GH participated in the ‘Beyond Asia Tech Summit: AI on 2024’ held in Silicon Valley, and conducted IR pitching for investment attraction at the startup accelerating event ‘Plug&Play 2024 Summer Summit’ (June 11?13).
GH plans to enhance the program’s completeness by continuing to hold a GH Basecamp performance sharing meeting and monitoring participating companies.
Kim Seyong, President of GH, stated, "The GH Basecamp project is highly significant as the first attempt to complete an attractive Gyeonggi-type self-sufficient city model where a corporate ecosystem is established, including global expansion, beyond merely providing urban spatial functions." He added, "We will continue to implement regional economic revitalization policies that harmonize with urban spaces."
