National Gwangju Science Museum, 36th Phil Science Lecture

The National Gwangju Science Museum will hold the 36th Phil Science Lecture on the 29th at the Sang-sang Hall of the building, under the theme "4.6 Billion Years of Earth's History: Extinct Creatures".

The lecture was planned to uncover hidden secrets about the Earth that has changed over 4.6 billion years and the extinct creatures we have forgotten. Lee Jeong-gu, director of the National Gwangju Science Museum and an expert in the field of paleontology in Korea, will be the speaker.

Attendees will receive a free admission ticket to the special exhibition '2024 Dino World' and a special souvenir, and those who answer the guerrilla quiz correctly during the lecture will receive a special gift. Participation can be applied through a reservation system (150 people) on the National Gwangju Science Museum website.

Kim Hyun-seung, senior researcher at the Gwangju Science Museum, said, “The past is like a mirror that can predict the future, so as the lecture covers the Earth and creatures that have changed over 4.6 billion years, I hope it will be a time to think together about the future Earth to come.”
