'2024 Asia Road Cycling Championships' Men's and Women's Joint Victory
Male and female cyclists from Jeonbuk are pedaling vigorously to win medals at the Paris Olympics in France.
According to the Jeonbuk Sports Council (Chairman Jeong Gang-seon) on the 18th, Kim Yuro (Korea Land and Geospatial Informatix Corporation) and Song Minji (Samyangsa, female) will compete together in the Paris Olympics, elevating the status of Korean sports.

They recently secured their tickets to Paris by proudly winning the individual road race at the '2024 Asian Road Cycling Championships' held in Kazakhstan.
Kim Yuro completed the 158km individual road course in 3 hours 21 minutes 4 seconds, winning the gold medal. Song Minji also reached the top of the podium with a time of 2 hours 56 minutes 51 seconds in the 112.6km individual road race. They confirmed their participation in the Paris Olympics with their simultaneous victories in the men's and women's individual road races.
This is the first time in seven years that a Korean male cyclist has won the individual road race at this competition since Park Sanghong (Korea Land and Geospatial Informatix Corporation) in 2017. For female cyclists, it is an achievement reached for the first time in eight years since Na Areum in 2016.
Meanwhile, the 33rd Paris Olympics will be held from July 26 to August 11 next month.
