Winner of the Korean Women's Open, No Seung-hee, has jumped to 80th place in the world rankings.

Korean Women's Open Champ No Seung-hee Rises from World Ranking 124 to 80 No Seung-hee is cheering while holding the trophy immediately after winning the DB Group Korea Women's Open.

In the weekly women's golf world rankings announced on the 17th (local time), she received 1.39 points, rising 44 spots from 124th place last week. On the 16th, at the Rainbow Hills Country Club in Eumseong-gun, Chungbuk (par 72, 6,756 yards), she secured points by achieving a 4-stroke victory at the DB Group 38th Korean Women's Open (total prize money 1.2 billion KRW), the second major tournament of the KLPGA Tour season. This is her first championship after 120 tournaments since her debut in 2020. She maintained the top position on the leaderboard for four days, winning 'wire-to-wire' and earning 300 million KRW in prize money.


Nelly Korda and Lilia Vu (both from the United States) remained steady at 1st and 2nd place. Lin Xiyu (China) pushed Celine Boutier (France) down to 4th place and rose one spot to 3rd. Hannah Green (Australia) is 5th, and Saso Yuka (Japan) is positioned 6th. For Korea, Ko Jin-young dropped one spot to 7th. Kim Hyo-joo is 12th, Shin Ji-ae 24th, Yang Hee-young 25th, Lee Ye-won 28th, Yoo Hae-ran 29th, Lim Jin-hee 35th, Kim Se-young 37th, and Park Min-ji is ranked 43rd.
