The Korea Machine Industry Promotion Association Establishes Joint Venture for World-Class Exhibition

Partnering with Global Exhibition Company Informa Markets

The Korea Association of Machinery Industry (KOAMI) announced on the 17th that it has partnered with the global exhibition company Informa Markets to establish 'KOAMI Informa Markets Co., Ltd.' KOAMI and Informa signed an agreement last month to form a joint venture and transform the existing Korea Industry Fair (DTon) into the 'Asia Machinery & Manufacturing Expo (AMXPO),' which will be held at KINTEX from October 30 to November 2.

The plan is to combine each other's strengths to jointly host a world-class exhibition that promotes Korea's excellent machinery industry technology to the global market, expands the global market, and provides a platform for building business cooperation relationships through support for collaboration and technology exchange among industry professionals.

Yoon Gap-seok, KOAMI's full-time vice chairman, stated, “Through cooperation with Informa, we expect Korea's machinery industry to achieve greater leaps in the global market, and AMXPO will serve as an important opportunity to showcase Korea's technological capabilities to the world.”
