BioCos Co., Ltd.'s low-irritant functional cosmetics brand 'Larucell' has laid the groundwork for entering the European market by obtaining the European cosmetics certification 'CPNP (Cosmetic Products Notification Portal)' for its Microbiome Vegan Line.
The Larucell Microbiome Vegan Line that acquired the CPNP certification this time includes four products: ▲Microbiome Vegan Repair Cream ▲Microbiome Vegan Balance Essence ▲Microbiome Vegan Pure Cleansing Bar ▲Mystic Light Cica Refreshing Hydrogel Mask Pack.
CPNP is a cosmetics registration system established in accordance with the cosmetic regulations enforced by the European Union (EU). It requires that no animal testing or animal-derived ingredients be used, and certification is determined based on strict criteria including manufacturer, finished product, raw materials, ingredients, and labeling.
In particular, CPNP registration is a mandatory procedure required for local distribution of cosmetics under EU Council regulations. Once registered with CPNP, products can be sold in all EU countries. By passing the stringent CPNP certification standards this time, Larucell has secured competitiveness in the European market.
The Larucell Vegan Line adopts proprietary patented technologies such as microbiome, liposome, and natural extracts, and does not use any synthetic ingredients that may irritate the skin, such as parabens and phenoxyethanol. Since its launch last year, the Vegan Line has steadily gained popularity, achieving a review rating of 4.9 points. Recently, it also appointed the famous YouTuber ‘Chansori’ as its ambassador.
Kang Sung, director of BioCos, said, "With the acquisition of the CPNP certification, we have laid the foundation for the Vegan Line products, which are currently loved in Korea and 12 countries worldwide, to successfully settle in Europe," adding, "We will do our best to present safer and higher-quality products to consumers in the future."
