Support from Saeul Nuclear Power Plant Headquarters Expected to Boost Local Economy
The Saeul Nuclear Power Headquarters of Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power (headed by So Youseop) is sponsoring, and the Seosaeng-myeon Accommodation Association (headed by Kim Mija) is organizing, the free couple bicycle rental project in the Jinha commercial area, which officially began on the 15th.
Saeul Headquarters supports the operating expenses of couple bicycle rentals to revitalize the local economy.
The free bicycle rental project was planned to revitalize the local economy by developing and branding the Jinha-ri commercial district in Seosaeng-myeon, Ulju-gun, and to provide entertainment and convenience for tourists.
Couple bicycles are available to visitors to the Jinha commercial area after they sign up for the Woori Neighborhood Free Insurance - Bicycle Insurance.
Jinha in Seosaeng-myeon boasts excellent tourist attractions such as Jinha Beach and Myeongseon-do, and a fully developed bicycle path along the Hoeya River from Jinha to Namchang, allowing visitors to enjoy beautiful scenery while cycling.
Kim Mija, president of the Seosaeng-myeon Accommodation Association, said, "We will do our best to make the free bicycle rental project a model case for practicing carbon neutrality and to achieve both goals of developing the local commercial district and providing convenience to visitors."
So Youseop, head of the Saeul Nuclear Power Headquarters, stated, "I hope that this project to revitalize the local economy will run smoothly and attract many tourists," adding, "Saeul Headquarters will do its utmost to promote local economic revitalization and mutual prosperity."
