This performance includes pieces such as "War and Peace," which expresses the pain and wounds of war, performed on the Gongmyeong instrument; "Tonghaeya"; "Let's Play," which conveys the idea that play is a space for work; "Sunflower," composed solely with simple percussion instruments like guitar, tambourine, and triangle; "Girinja," representing constellations in the northern hemisphere; "Walkabout"; and "Memory of the Waves."

Next, audiences can enjoy "With Sea," a piece using our traditional Eotmori Jangdan rhythm; "Gongmyeong Play," Gongmyeong's signature piece featuring the Gongmyeong instrument; "Heung," inspired by the melody of Bukcheong Lion Dance; and finally, "Treasure Island," which returns to the innocence of childhood dreams of finding treasure.

The performance is free of charge, and a free shuttle bus service will be provided before and after the concert, running between Jindo-eup Office, the Gugak Center, Osan Elementary School (Gogun-myeon), and Hoedong (the mysterious sea road).

Additionally, a performance stamp coupon event will be held until November for visitors to the venue, offering small souvenirs to participating audience members. Detailed information about the performance can be found on the National Namdo Gugak Center’s website or by phone.

Meanwhile, the National Namdo Gugak Center, which opened in 2004, is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year and aims to become an even richer cultural resting place for the public through more diverse performances, education, and experiences.
