Sales Volume Soars 126% Year-on-Year for 680g

SPC Dunkin announced on the 17th that sales of the ‘King Size Iced Americano’ have surpassed 1.4 million cups in two years.
Known among consumers as the so-called ‘King Aa,’ Dunkin’s King Size Iced Americano is a large-sized coffee first introduced in July 2022. It became a popular product, surpassing 40,000 cups in cumulative sales within just over a month after its launch. Recently, with the early heatwaves continuing day after day, sales have surged, achieving 126% compared to the same period last year.
Offered in a large 24-ounce (oz) · 680g size, the King Size Iced Americano is available at Dunkin stores nationwide and can be purchased by adding 1,000 KRW to the regular iced Americano price.
The King Size Iced Americano, popular for its generous size and excellent taste, reflects Dunkin’s long-standing efforts to enhance coffee quality.
To strengthen coffee quality and secure diversity, Dunkin established a roasting factory in Eumseong, Chungbuk in 2009. In particular, starting with ‘Chelsea Vibe’ in 2018, Dunkin’s seasonal second blends have captivated consumers who want to enjoy unique coffee flavors. The ‘Field with Love,’ released last winter, blends Brazilian beans with rich aroma, Guatemalan beans with excellent body, and Ethiopian beans known for their smooth cleanliness in an optimal ratio, featuring the sweetness of brown sugar and the subtle flavor of dried fruits.
The ‘Boston Blend,’ launched earlier this year, received great love from consumers with its perfect blend of Papua New Guinea beans offering clean sweetness, Brazilian beans with a nutty flavor, and Colombian beans with a pleasant acidity reminiscent of white wine.
Recently, reflecting the increasing demand for decaffeinated coffee, Dunkin has been continuously expanding its unique decaffeinated coffee lineup. Last year, they introduced two types of ‘Decaf Dual Brew’ using both hot brew and cold brew methods. Starting this year, the ‘Decaf Blend,’ which was previously available only in some stores, has been expanded to all nationwide stores. The Decaf Blend maintains the rich and deep taste and aroma of Dunkin espresso while significantly reducing caffeine content, earning high praise. Additionally, by launching ‘Decaf Capsule Coffee,’ consumers can enjoy decaffeinated coffee at home or in the office.
