CJ CheilJedang’s Bibigo is launching a special collaboration product with HYBE to celebrate BTS member Jin’s military discharge.


On the 17th, CJ CheilJedang announced the release of limited edition Bibigo products featuring the character ‘Wootteo.’ Wootteo, short for ‘space wanderer,’ is a character created by Jin himself. The limited edition packaging concept depicts Wootteo embarking on a journey to the Bibigo planet in search of the meaning of K-food.


The ‘Bibigo X Wootteo’ products consist of Bibigo’s core strategic items such as K-street food and dumplings.

First, the ‘Bibigo Shelf-Stable Tteokbokki 3 Types (Original, Spicy, Cheese),’ released on the 13th, features bite-sized chewy rice cakes and a sweet and spicy sauce that captures the authentic taste of Korea’s representative street food. As the first product in CJ CheilJedang’s K-street food lineup, it has been exported to over 40 countries including the United States, Australia, Vietnam, and Singapore since June last year, receiving great love from global consumers.


Next, on the 25th, Bibigo will sequentially release ‘Bibigo Bungeoppang 2 Types (Red Bean, Custard),’ now loved all year round as a ‘K-dessert,’ and ‘Bibigo Whole Shrimp Dumplings,’ made with whole shrimp.


Additionally, customers who purchase Bibigo X Wootteo products can also find seal stickers. There are 16 different designs of ‘Wootteo’ stickers randomly included with each product, adding the fun of collecting. Until August 9th, customers who collect all 16 Wootteo stickers inside the products and verify them on Bibigo’s Instagram will be entered into a draw to win a Bibigo X Wootteo plush doll, awarded to 100 winners.


The Bibigo X Wootteo products will be available for purchase through major domestic large supermarkets, CJ CheilJedang’s official mall CJ The Market, and online and offline channels such as Naver, Gmarket, and B Mart until the end of this year. Furthermore, the Bibigo X Wootteo shelf-stable tteokbokki and bungeoppang will begin exports to key global markets such as the United States and the Philippines starting in July.
