[Polpol News] President Yoon's Approval Rating Falls Again After 3 Weeks... Realmeter "In the Low 30% for 10 Consecutive Weeks"

The approval rating of President Yoon Seok-yeol, which had shown a slight rebound, has declined again after three weeks. Since the general election defeat, President Yoon's approval rating has remained in the low 30% range for 10 consecutive weeks.


According to a public opinion poll released on the 17th by Realmeter (conducted at the request of Energy Economy Newspaper from the 10th to the 14th, targeting 2,504 voters aged 18 and over nationwide, with 97% mobile and 3% landline automated responses), President Yoon's approval rating fell by 1.4 percentage points from the previous weekly survey to 30.1%. The disapproval rating rose by 0.9 percentage points to 66.0%.


President Yoon's approval rating notably declined among conservatives (down 3.7 percentage points, from 55.1% to 51.4%), agricultural, forestry, and fishery workers (down 8.9 percentage points, from 43.5% to 34.6%), people in their 30s (down 3.5 percentage points, from 31.2% to 27.7%), and those aged 70 and above (down 3.2 percentage points, from 47.9% to 44.7%).

Looking at the daily trend of the poll, President Yoon's approval rating reached 31.6% on the 12th, a weekday, but then declined to 29.4% on the 14th, later in the week.


Regarding party support, the People Power Party's approval rating rose slightly, while the Democratic Party's rating fell slightly.


According to a party support poll (conducted at the request of Energy Economy Newspaper from the 13th to the 14th, targeting 1,001 voters aged 18 and over nationwide, with 97% mobile and 3% landline automated responses), the People Power Party's support increased by 1.4 percentage points from the previous weekly survey to 35.9%, while the Democratic Party's support decreased by 0.2 percentage points to 35.4%. The Innovation Party rose by 0.2 percentage points to 13.2%, and the Reform Party fell by 0.3 percentage points to 4.9%.
