Low-cost airline Flydubai from the United Arab Emirates (UAE) made an emergency landing in Thailand due to a landing gear malfunction.
According to local media including the Bangkok Post on the 16th, a Flydubai Airbus A319 passenger aircraft flying from Dubai to the Philippines made an emergency landing at U-Tapao Naval Airfield in the Rayong area of Thailand around 1 a.m. the previous day.

The captain detected a landing gear issue during the flight and requested emergency landing clearance at U-Tapao Airport.
Following a recent emergency landing incident involving a Singapore Airlines passenger plane, airport authorities went on high alert and deployed medical personnel and over 40 ambulances on standby.
Although it was initially reported that about 100 passengers were on board, it was later confirmed that only nine people were on the aircraft: two captains and seven crew members, with no passengers. The aircraft landed safely at U-Tapao Airport, and there were no injuries.
Previously, on the 21st of last month, a Singapore Airlines passenger plane carrying 229 people, including 211 passengers, made an emergency landing at Suvarnabhumi Airport in Bangkok, Thailand. The London-bound Singapore Airlines flight SQ321 encountered severe turbulence over Myanmar airspace, causing a sudden drop and resulting in multiple injuries. One person died on board, and over 100 were treated at hospitals in Bangkok.
