[Weather] Rain Stops on Sunday, Heat Continues with Temperatures Exceeding 30 Degrees in Many Areas

On Sunday the 16th, the sky will be mostly cloudy nationwide but will gradually clear up from the morning.

The morning low temperatures are forecasted to be between 16 and 22 degrees Celsius, and the daytime highs between 26 and 32 degrees Celsius. In the inland areas of Jeonnam and Gyeongsang regions, the highest apparent temperature is expected to rise above 31 degrees Celsius, making it very hot. Fine dust levels will be 'Good' nationwide due to smooth atmospheric dispersion.

In the Yeongdong area of Gangwon Province, winds may reach strong gusts of 55 km/h (15 m/s) or more, so attention should be paid to facility management and safety accidents.

Sea waves will be 0.5 to 1.0 meters high in the coastal waters of the East Sea, West Sea, and South Sea. In the offshore waters (about 200 km from the coastline), wave heights are predicted to be 0.5 to 1.0 meters in the East Sea and West Sea, and 0.5 to 1.5 meters in the South Sea.
