On the 30th of last month, a suspicious plastic bag was found near the wheel of a patrol car parked in a parking lot located in Hwado-eup, Namyangju-si. Police officers walking toward the patrol car noticed the suspicious bag and were initially tense, but after identifying its contents, they felt all their fatigue disappear.

Inside the bag were colorful puffed rice snacks and a letter written in crooked handwriting that read, "I am a 4th-grade student. If you are hungry, please eat this."

After checking the nearby store's CCTV, the police smiled. The footage showed an elementary school student carrying a large transparent bag of snacks, walking quickly, kneeling down beside the patrol car, and writing the letter.

Impressed by the student's heart, the police conducted inquiries while on safety duty during elementary school dismissal times and found Cha Yesung, a 4th grader at Hwado Elementary School, who had left the snacks.

Cha's mother said, "His dream is to become a police officer, and he often makes reports and shows gratitude when he sees patrolling police officers. It seems he bought the snacks with his allowance and left them."

The Mobile Patrol Unit of the Northern Gyeonggi Provincial Police Agency gave Cha, who dreams of becoming a police officer, a memorable day by accompanying him on patrols of unmanned stores and showing him police equipment.
