Cheongsong County in North Gyeongsang Province held the "Integrity Culture Experience Workshop" at the Gyeongju Choi Family Academy for two days on the 13th and 14th.
This workshop provided special lectures on integrity and on-site experiential education for about 40 people, including those in charge of civil complaints in corruption-prone areas such as construction, administrative support, permits, and subsidy support.
The training included an integrity lecture on the theme of "Sharing and Coexistence," a special lecture on the "Conflict of Interest Prevention Act," and field trips and experiential programs under the theme "Meeting the Cheongbaekri: Unchanging Values and Spirit."
Cheongsong County took time to reflect on the origins and stories of Cheongbaekri, the symbol of integrity, and the spirit of frugality and honesty of scholars at the Gyeongju Choi Family House, reaffirming the proper image of public officials.
County Governor Yoon Kyunghee said, "I hope that through this workshop, public officials will once again engrave the value of integrity in their hearts and take the lead in creating an honest public service society."
