Naju-si Awarded 'Excellence Prize' in Dasan Safety Award Comprehensive Evaluation Report

Naju City in Jeollanam-do received the 'Excellence Award' at the Dasan Safety Award ceremony for city and county divisions, hosted by Jeollanam-do, held at the provincial government disaster situation room on the 13th.

On the 14th, the city announced that it achieved excellent results in the comprehensive evaluation across four areas: safety culture movement evaluation, Safety Korea training evaluation, disaster management evaluation, and disaster prevention project evaluation, securing 85 million KRW in prize money.

The prize money will be invested in safety and disaster management fields to create an environment where citizens can live with peace of mind.

Mayor Yoon Byung-tae stated, "Securing the lives and safety of citizens is the most important thing in the event of a disaster," adding, "Starting this year, through the newly implemented 24/7 disaster safety situation room operation without any gaps, we will build a safe and happy Naju City free from disasters."
