Boy band BTS celebrated their 11th debut anniversary, and it has been reported that when searching for 'BTS' on Google, a purple balloon event fills the screen.

On the 14th, posts titled 'What appears when you search BTS on Google now' and 'Google's event for BTS 11th anniversary' have been continuously uploaded on online communities. One netizen said, "If you search BTS on Google and click the purple balloon, balloons fill the entire screen. It's amazing," adding, "It's impressive that Google is even holding an event for the 11th anniversary."

Actually, when searching 'BTS' or 'Bangtan Sonyeondan' on Google, a purple heart balloon with a microphone appears to the left of the group name. Clicking it causes purple balloons to fill the screen, and clicking the heart balloon with the microphone makes the members each say "I Purple You" (Borahae). Along with this, phrases and hand drawings written by the members themselves also appear.

Purple is BTS's symbolic color. "Borahae" is a term used by BTS members and fans instead of saying "I love you." Just as purple is the last color of the seven-colored rainbow, it carries the meaning of trusting and loving each other until the end.

Upon hearing the news, BTS's fan club ARMY responded with comments such as "ARMY also Borahae BTS," "Apo Bangpo (ARMY Forever BTS Forever)," and "ARMY will always only look at BTS."

Meanwhile, BTS held the '2024 FESTA' around Jamsil, Seoul, the day before. FESTA is a festival BTS holds every year on their debut day (June 13) to celebrate with fans. This year was especially meaningful as Jin, the eldest member who enlisted first, was discharged and participated in the festival. At the fan meeting that day, he said, "I thought I would have a lot to say when I meet ARMY, and now that we are together, with your cheers, I feel a little more at ease," adding, "Receiving energy directly from you like this makes me feel that just seeing you is enough."
