Donation of 3.65 Million Won for Second Child's First Birthday Following First Child's Celebration
Dasan Beachae Golf & Resort representatives Jang Boseong and Kim Yurim, a married couple, donated 3.65 million won to the Hope Summer Chakchakchak Sharing Campaign on the 13th to celebrate the first birthday of their second child, Jang Raon.
Following their first child, the couple donated again on their second child's first birthday, saving 10,000 won daily for 365 days from the child's birth to the first birthday, symbolizing their wish for all children to be happy every day of the year by donating 3.65 million won.
The donation ceremony was held with the attendance of Dasan Beachae Golf & Resort representatives Jang Boseong and Kim Yurim and Gangjin County Governor Kang Jinwon. The donation will be used in connection with the Jeollanam-do Social Welfare Community Chest's Hope Summer Chakchakchak Sharing Campaign to support child care facilities and children in need in Gangjin County.

Representatives Jang Boseong and Kim Yurim, continuing the legacy of the late Chairman Kim Honam, founder of Dasan Beachae, have been steadily engaged in social contribution activities since 2013. Their donations include △ 1 million won for overcoming the COVID-19 crisis and 5 million won to the County Scholarship Foundation in 2020 △ 3 million won for supporting sports equipment for the disabled and 3.65 million won commemorating their first child's first birthday in 2021 △ 10 million won to the local sports association for nurturing sports talents in 2023 △ 20 million won through designated Hope Sharing donations from 2022 to 2023, as well as scholarships for talent development through the Unam Cultural Scholarship Foundation for 12 years.
Jang Boseong, representative of Dasan Beachae Golf & Resort, said, “Instead of celebrating our children's first birthdays with lavish parties, we decided to donate to teach them the beautiful value of helping others,” adding, “We want to participate in various ways such as sharing to coexist with the local community.”
Gangjin County Governor Kang Jinwon said, “We are grateful for the continuous interest in Gangjin County and the steady donations of scholarships, sports equipment for the disabled, and designated Hope Sharing donations. We will do our best to ensure that Jang Raon and children, who are the hope for the future, can grow up in a good environment.”
