Daejeon Tourism Organization Launches Full-Scale Operation of Daecheongho Ecological Theme Tourism Program

Operation of Day and 1-Night 2-Day Courses Including Daecheongho and Original Downtown Experiences

Daejeon Tourism Organization announced that starting from the 15th, it will operate the ‘2024 Daecheongho Ecological Theme Tourism’ program.

The program is operated as a day trip and a 1-night 2-day course utilizing local ecological tourism resources, centered around the Daecheongho Obaekri-gil Daejeon section (sections 1 to 5) and the original downtown area.

The day trip course is divided into Course 1, which is with local artists, and Course 2, which experiences the Daecheongho Ecological Village, offering activities such as ‘A Walk Around Daecheongho with Local Artists,’ ‘Flower Snap Tour,’ ‘Ecological Village Walk and Rice Cake Making Experience,’ and ‘Meditation Garden Forest Guided Tour.’

The 1-night 2-day course includes ‘Daecheong Dam Snap Tour,’ ‘Ecological Village Natural Dyeing Experience,’ ‘Submerged Residents History Humanities Tour,’ and the ‘Original Downtown Modern Architecture Tour’ held in Daejeon’s original downtown area.

Anyone of any age can participate by accessing the official website and reserving courses according to the schedule. The participation fee is 25,000 KRW for the day trip and 50,000 KRW for the 1-night 2-day course.
