Kim Jong-yeon, CEO of Shinhung CNC Construction, Inducted into Gangseo-gu Hall of Fame

Gangseo-gu, Seoul (District Mayor Jin Gyo-hoon) held an event to honor the precious intentions of outstanding donors who have taken the lead in spreading a culture of sharing through generous donations.

On the 13th at 4:30 PM, the district office hosted the 'Donor Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony.'

At the ceremony, Mr. Kim Jong-yeon (CEO of Shinheung CNC Construction), who has donated a total of 55 million KRW in several installments since 2019, was selected as an outstanding individual donor.

Mr. Kim Jong-yeon, who has practiced love for neighbors through continuous sharing such as kimchi sharing events and support for North Korean defectors, also joined the 'Honor Society,' a high-value donor group of the Community Chest of Korea, in 2022. Last year, he received a presidential citation as an advisory member of the National Unification Advisory Council.

Mr. Kim said, "As an advisory member of the National Unification Advisory Council, I have only participated in the donation culture together with good neighbors in the community, but I have received an award that is far beyond what I deserve," adding, "I will continue to strive to support the underprivileged."

In response, District Mayor Jin Gyo-hoon said, "I sincerely thank you for practicing love for neighbors not only through monetary donations but also through various volunteer activities."

Meanwhile, since 2018, the district has established the 'Gangseo-gu Donor Hall of Fame' on the stairwell walls of the first and second floors of the district office main building to honor donors and promote a healthy donation culture.
