Dong-eui Institute of Technology (President Kim Youngdo) invited a senior volunteer group affiliated with the Busanjingu Volunteer Center to the campus on June 12 and held a special talent donation lecture on "Making Natural Cosmetics."
On the 12th, Dong-Eui University of Science held a talent donation special lecture on "Making Natural Cosmetics."
This special lecture was organized by the Student Welfare Office and the Department of Smart Wellness Medical Beauty at Dong-eui Institute of Technology to express gratitude and support to senior volunteers who are active in the local community.
This volunteer activity was conducted in collaboration with the Busanjingu Volunteer Center (Director Kim Hyangmi), with about 20 students from the Department of Smart Wellness Medical Beauty participating. For about two hours, they made nourishing cream and perfume using natural ingredients.
Professor Kang Taekyung of the Department of Smart Wellness Medical Beauty said, "It was even more meaningful because students had the opportunity to donate their talents for local seniors using what they learned at school," and added, "Seeing how much the seniors enjoyed it, we will plan more fun and diverse programs in the future so that students and the local community can participate together."
Dong-eui Institute of Technology was selected as an excellent volunteer organization at the "2023 Busanjingu Volunteer Conference" and continues to plan and operate various activities and programs that connect the silver and youth generations, as part of the Healthy and Happy Community Project in which local residents participate.
