They created a table space for in-house communication and transformed it into a comfortable and recharging area by installing recliner sofas, air purifiers, and dressing tables. Taekwang Industrial is also undertaking additional improvements to the working environment, including renovating the exterior walls of the Jangchung-dong office building.

The scope of the 'Smart Commute System,' which allows flexible adjustment of commuting hours, has also been expanded. Previously applied only to parents raising children in second grade or below and pregnant female workers, since March it has been extended to cover parents raising children up to sixth grade.

Financial affiliates are also focusing on improving the working environment for their employees.

Heungkuk Life Insurance opened a new employee lounge at its headquarters in Heungkuk Life Insurance Building, Jongno-gu, Seoul, at the end of last year. The lounge, designed as both a resting area and a space for free discussion, is equipped with a coffee machine, ice maker, and phone booths.

Heungkuk Fire & Marine Insurance has started providing gimbap to employees who arrive early in the morning from this month. This pilot service is being conducted for about a month, and if employee response is positive, the company is considering formal adoption.

Korea and Yegaram Savings Banks have introduced business casual dress codes and expanded medical support for employees to enhance work environment and welfare. In particular, comprehensive health checkups can now be optionally supported not only for employees but also for their immediate family members and spouses.

Media affiliate Tcast significantly increased work satisfaction by fully accepting proposals from the Junior Board, which was launched for the first time last year. Changes included the introduction of staggered working hours in July last year, establishment of an in-house messenger, segmentation of reward systems, and creation of an in-house media lounge.

Korea Cable Telecom (kct) and infrastructure and leisure affiliate Tisis are also expected to complete the reorganization of office and employee lounge spaces within this month.

A Taekwang Group official said, "We will continue efforts to improve the environment that enhances work efficiency and allows appropriate rest for our organizational members," adding, "We will do our best to create a corporate culture that fosters a sense of belonging and pride, making it a company where employees want to work."
