Now in its sixth year, the 'Busan Brand Festa' is a large-scale consumer festival event that promotes and sells outstanding products from local small and medium-sized businesses, raising product awareness and supporting the development of diverse sales channels.

At the same time, the event aims to discover hidden gem companies in the region and introduce them to citizens, providing a platform for communication between businesses and the public.

As sponsoring organizations, Korea Southern Power, Korea Securities Depository, Korea Asset Management Corporation, Korea Housing Finance Corporation, Korea Technology Finance Corporation, and BNK Busan Bank, all actively pursuing ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) management, will also participate to support local businesses.

This year's event will feature more than 110 leading companies from Busan, showcasing excellent products and technologies. A variety of citizen-participation events will also be held, allowing visitors to directly engage while making purchases.

Visitors can experience the taste of Busan through companies such as 'Daeseon', a leading liquor company with over 90 years of tradition; the cafe 'EL16.52', which has become a popular spot near Songdo Amnam Park; 'JN Chonggak Butcher Shop', known for supplying quality meat to Busan citizens; and 'Six Seasons', a company specializing in pasta and Western-style tteokbokki meal kits, all offering traditional flavors and stories of Busan.

Additionally, visitors can check out 'Iyue Itneun Suljip', Busan's first traditional liquor bottle shop; the 'Dongbaek Sanghoe' joint pavilion for excellent local products; the 'Busan Super' joint pavilion by Busan Tourism Organization; the 'Top 10 Busan Tourism Souvenirs' shop; and the joint pavilion for social enterprises in Busan.

Moreover, a wide range of products and technologies in the fields of 'food and desserts', 'beauty and fashion', 'health', 'lifestyle and interior', 'leisure and tourism', and 'technology and services' will be available, along with a flea market.

In addition to extensive discount sales, there will be booth-specific events, prize draws, and hands-on activities, offering plenty of attractions and entertainment for families, friends, and acquaintances to enjoy together and create lasting memories.

Especially on the weekend, an 'Adult Games' event will be held, allowing families to enjoy games together and providing unforgettable experiences for visitors.

There will also be a variety of prize events, including a 5,000 won cash coupon giveaway based on purchase amount, a major customer appreciation event, and a photo certification event.

Admission is free, and detailed information about the event can be found on the Busan Brand Festa website.

Additionally, a special business program will be held as a side event to support companies facing difficulties in product promotion and sales.

On the opening day, June 14, a 'Public Institution-SME Joint Purchase Consultation Meeting' will be held, providing consultations on public procurement with the Public Procurement Service and legal consultations for small business owners, fully supporting participating companies in expanding their sales channels.

The opening ceremony will take place at 2 p.m. on June 14, with Deputy Mayor for Economic Affairs Kim Gwanghoe and about 10 distinguished guests attending to deliver congratulatory remarks, participate in a ribbon-cutting ceremony, and tour the venue.

Deputy Mayor Kim Gwanghoe stated, "By successfully hosting the Busan Brand Festa, we aim not only to promote outstanding local companies to citizens but also to open new sales channels and provide strong support for local businesses. In addition to product promotion booths and the flea market, we have prepared a variety of events for families to enjoy together, so we ask for your great interest and participation."
