Doors Wide Open for Foreign Students to Work at Restaurants... Dong-Eui University Signs Agreement with Franchise Association for Settlement-Oriented Talent Development

Support Cooperation for Enrollment and Employment of Local and International Students in Busan

The door to employment at domestic restaurants is expected to open wide for international students in Korea.


Dong-Eui University (President Han Suhwan) signed an agreement on the 5th in the conference room on the 2nd floor of the main building with the Busan-Ulsan-Gyeongnam Chapter of the Korea Franchise Association (Chairman Oh Mongseok) to foster local talent in Busan.


The signing ceremony was attended by Dong-Eui University President Han Suhwan, Vice President for External Affairs Lee Imgeon, Dean of Student Affairs Lee Cheolgyun, Dean of International Exchange Bae Geumgwang, as well as Chairman of the Korea Franchise Association Busan-Ulsan-Gyeongnam Chapter Oh Mongseok (CEO of Dream Realizers Co., Ltd. and Bulmak Yeolsam), and Vice Chairman Lee Ukki (CEO of BK Company and Amasvin), among others.


Through this agreement, the two organizations agreed to cooperate in providing education, support activities, and employment opportunities to enhance the job competencies of enrolled students and international students.


President Han Suhwan said, "If excellent jobs that reflect the unique characteristics of the region are provided to passionate young talents, Busan will become an attractive city for young people to settle in," and added, "I hope this agreement will develop into a successful model of industry-academia cooperation."


The Busan-Ulsan-Gyeongnam Chapter of the Korea Franchise Association has more than 130 member companies and is engaged in various activities such as operating the Busan Franchise Academy, fostering professional talent, industry-academia cooperation, and volunteering for low-income and marginalized groups.
