Product Exhibition and Tasting Event at Bukchon Traditional Liquor Gallery in Seoul
The representative alcoholic beverages of Chungnam region, 'Top Ten' (TOP10), have been selected.
On the 12th, the province announced that, together with the Chungnam Job and Economy Promotion Agency, it selected one type of Takju, one type of fruit wine, four types of medicinal and Cheongju, and four types of distilled liquor produced at breweries in the Chungnam region as this year’s Chungnam Liquors.
The province conducted a blind tasting evaluation for 44 liquors from 30 breweries, targeting both the general public and experts.
The selected products are △Yangchon Brewery's 'Yangchon Saeng Makgeolli' △Haemi Eupseong Strawberry Wine's 'Haemi Eupseong Strawberry Sparkling Wine' △Hansan Mosi Brewery's 'Hansan Sogokju Saengju' △Taean Fermentation's 'Taean Beopju 16' △Chamduwon's 'Gwipum Hansan Sogokju' △Naeguk Brewery's 'Neungiju' △Isang Brewery's 'Cheonan Hoduju' △Hansan Sogokju Master’s 'Oak Blue' △Yesan Apple Wine's 'Chusa 40' △Palomi's 'Palomi Soju The Oak 26'.
For design, 'Saebyeokdal White' from Hansan Sogokju Hoam Brewery was selected.
The province plans to hold an exhibition and tasting event at the Traditional Liquor Gallery operated by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs in Bukchon, Seoul.
A provincial official said, "Starting this year, we will design a Chungnam Liquor Top Ten certification mark and distribute it to the selected breweries," adding, "We will support the participation of the selected Chungnam Liquor Top Ten products in domestic and international expos and local festivals."
