Emart Tackles Summer Prices... "Health Foods and Household Items Up to 60% Off"

Emart announced on the 12th that it will offer various summer health foods, home appliances, and daily necessities at special prices to welcome the summer season. The event period is from the 14th to the 30th of this month, and especially from the 14th to the 16th, a weekend special sale will be held to increase benefits.

First, for summer health foods, all items of ▲antibiotic-free, animal welfare live chicken for baeksuk (boiled chicken soup) ▲large flounder sashimi (about 360g) ▲flounder mulhoe (cold raw fish soup) will be sold at a 30% discount when Shinsegae Points are accumulated.

Emart prepared a supply of 100,000 chickens for the event, anticipating increased demand for chicken baeksuk due to the recent rapid rise in temperature. Domestic flounder sashimi and flounder mulhoe can also be purchased at discounted prices of 24,486 KRW and 17,360 KRW respectively with Shinsegae Points accumulation, both reflecting a 30% discount. Emart emphasized that the event products were selected in large (大) sizes to help reduce the burden of dining out prices.

Chodang sweet corn, considered a summer delicacy, will also be sold at special prices. During the event period, Emart offers 8 pieces of domestic Chodang sweet corn for 10,000 KRW. When converted to a unit price, it is 1,250 KRW per piece, about 36% cheaper than the previous price of 1,980 KRW. Emart highlighted that the buyer was able to secure a supply of one million Chodang sweet corns since June last year, enabling the low price.

A "Pick and Mix" event will also be held. Among 12 types of European salads priced at 3,980 KRW each, customers can choose 3 packs for a total of 7,980 KRW. The same pick and mix event applies to 6 types of seafood such as cleaned clams (500g) and Namhaean cockles (700g). Purchasing 3 packs of these products priced at 4,980 KRW each allows customers to buy them at a 33% discount for 9,990 KRW.

The weekend special sale will take place from the 14th to the 16th. First, various fresh and processed foods including seasonal summer fruits will be discounted. With Shinsegae Points accumulation, domestic raspberries (350g) can be purchased for 8,800 KRW, discounted by 4,000 KRW from 12,800 KRW. All types of galbisal (beef rib meat) from the U.S., Wagyu, and Australia will be discounted by 30%. Emart prepared about 70 tons of galbisal, the popular special cut, at the largest volume of the year.

Additionally, ▲CJ fried dumplings and boiled dumplings ▲grape seed oil ▲Post cereals ▲laundry detergents including Figi, Acts, Perwol, Persil, Arm & Hammer ▲wet tissues will be discounted up to 50% when purchasing two or more. There will also be super special price products with a 60% discount on a total of 5 items. Foot shampoo "Wash Your Feet" (grapefruit, lemon, 385ml) will be sold for 4,760 KRW, Oppre shampoo for hair loss symptom relief (oily and normal to dry scalp, 700ml) for 7,160 KRW, and Cody safe natural pulp 3-ply kitchen towels (160 sheets, 4 rolls) for 2,600 KRW.

Meanwhile, Emart is conducting a summer frequency event. The event, running from the 14th of this month to the 25th of next month, gives one stamp for purchases over 70,000 KRW, and collecting 6 stamps entitles the first 10,000 customers to receive a gift.

The gifts include a travel gear foldable carry-on suitcase (20-inch, black or white) and a travel pouch (black), valued at 140,000 KRW. The foldable carry-on suitcase is a compressed (foldable) structure that reduces volume by half and is made of sturdy materials. The travel pouch also compresses volume by 50%, making it convenient for organizing wardrobes.
