Korea Asset Management Corporation Gyeongnam Regional Headquarters Donates 5 Million Won to Changwon Special City

Support for the 'Dadungi Dahamkke Kium' Project

Changwon Special City in Gyeongnam announced on the 11th that the Gyeongnam Regional Headquarters of Korea Asset Management Corporation has donated 5 million KRW in funds at the mayor's reception room.

Korea Asset Management Corporation Donates to Changwon City's 'Raising Multiple Children Together' Project.

Changwon City currently provides up to 2 million KRW as a childbirth congratulatory grant and 3 million KRW as a First Meeting Voucher for newborns. In addition, the city is running the 'Dadungi DaHamkke Kium' project in 2024, which recruits sponsors from companies, organizations, and individuals to provide an additional 1 million KRW for families with a third child or more.

This project aims to alleviate the financial burden on families with multiple children when giving birth and raising kids, and to foster a child-rearing-friendly atmosphere where the local community celebrates together. As of June, 14 companies and organizations have participated, raising 140.2 million KRW to support 67 children from large families.

The Gyeongnam Regional Headquarters of Korea Asset Management Corporation is carrying out various social contribution activities for vulnerable groups in the local community as part of its ESG management.

Deputy Mayor Jang Geumyong said, "We are grateful to Korea Asset Management Corporation for taking an interest in and participating in projects for families with multiple children. So far, 75% of families with three or more children in Changwon have received support from the Dadungi DaHamkke program. We will continue to develop various policies for childbirth and parenting to create a nurturing environment that is ideal for raising children."
