Naju-si Noan-myeon, Eoullim Center Pond Renovated as a Rest Area

The Noan-myeon Residents' Autonomy Committee (Chairman Yang Chan-gyu) in Naju City has embarked on creating a resting area and a loess path for barefoot walking to provide healing for local residents and visitors.

Noan-myeon announced on the 10th that, as part of the community beautification project, it recently renovated a pond that had been neglected in front of the Myeon Community Center into a resting space and newly created a loess path for barefoot walking around the Geuman-ri fishery reservoir area.

This community beautification project was realized through the generous talent donations of the committee members, resulting in a residents' resting space enhanced with nighttime landscape lighting. The loess path around the Geuman-ri fishery reservoir was created with active participation from many local residents, adding a sense of communal sharing.

Yang Chan-gyu, chairman of the Residents' Autonomy Committee, said, "I am pleased to have established a place for communication through the passionate talent donations of the committee members and the volunteer participation of residents. We will continue to actively participate in community beautification projects for the residents."

Moon Hye-in, head of Noan-myeon, expressed gratitude, saying, "I thank the Residents' Autonomy Committee and all residents who worked hard to provide richer sights and activities in Noan-myeon. We will continue to manage and maintain the village resting area and loess path so that they can become healing spots."
