Anseong-si to Host 'Daengdaengi Cinema Picnic' on the 15th
Anseong City in Gyeonggi Province will hold the '2024 Anseong Matchum Land Doggy Cinema Picnic' on the 15th at the Anseong Matchum Land Lawn Plaza.
Hosted together with Anseong Media Center and the City Without Stray Dogs, this event will feature various outdoor activities with pets, including a pet talent show, Godzilla contest, Petiquette sports day, and a wait contest.
Additionally, there will be hands-on programs such as making keyrings, name tags, and tug toys, as well as photo booths, busking performances, magic shows, and movie screenings. The venue will also have a flea market and food trucks to ensure visitors can enjoy the weekend with their pets.
The animated film "Underdog," directed by Osung Yoon, will be screened at the event. This film won the Grand Prize at the Seoul International Children's Film Festival and the Jury Special Prize at the Seoul International Cartoon & Animation Festival.
Meanwhile, Anseong Matchum Land will open an outdoor swimming pool near the Fountain Plaza on the 19th of next month to welcome the full summer season, and on the following day, the 20th, a four-season sledding hill will also open.
