Operation of Educational Programs at Korea Traditional Culture University
The Traditional Culture Education Center of Korea National University of Cultural Heritage will operate the program "Beautiful Gardens, Beautiful Patterns Stories" on the 25th and 28th. This educational program allows participants to directly experience national heritage sites filled with tradition and history, gaining broad cultural knowledge. It offers an opportunity to simultaneously engage in in-depth thematic exploration and cultural experiences.
This session focuses on the traditional patterns found in the gardens of the five grand palaces (Gyeongbokgung, Changdeokgung, Deoksugung, Changgyeonggung, Gyeonghuigung). The program consists of a theoretical lecture that aesthetically compares and understands the meanings and values of these patterns, followed by a field trip to stroll through the garden of Changdeokgung Palace.
Citizens wishing to participate can apply through the Seoul Lifelong Learning Portal website starting at 10 a.m. on the 10th. Each session is limited to twenty-five participants, and both the lecture and admission are free of charge.
