Gwangju Buk-gu Council Members Receive Korea Local Assembly Service Award

Members of the Buk-gu Council in Gwangju Metropolitan City were honored with the Local Legislative Service Award.

According to the Buk-gu Council on the 9th, council members Ju Sun-il, Ki Dae-seo, Kim Gwi-seong, Kim Young-sun, and Lim Jong-guk received the Local Legislative Service Award at the award ceremony hosted by the Gwangju Metropolitan City Autonomous District Council Chairpersons Association on the 7th.

Council member Ju Sun-il received the Award from the Korea Association of City, County, and District Council Chairpersons, while Ki Dae-seo, Kim Gwi-seong, Kim Young-sun, and Lim Jong-guk each received the Award from the Gwangju Metropolitan City Autonomous District Council Chairpersons Association.

The Local Legislative Service Award is given to local council members who have contributed to local autonomy and the development of the community.

The council members expressed, "We are very pleased and honored to receive such a meaningful award at the halfway point of the 9th term. We understand this as the residents' wish for us to work even harder in our legislative activities, and we will strive with a more dedicated attitude to promote local autonomy and improve residents' welfare."
