The self-employed person, Mr. A, who posted the story, said, "I can't sleep because of what happened today," and added, "A customer came with a baby, so I guided them to the corner seat."
He explained, "(The customer) suddenly started changing the baby's diaper during the meal," and "They tried to throw the diaper away in the trash bin next to the restaurant's sink, so I told them to go outside and throw it away since the restroom is right outside the door."
Mr. A shared that the customer later wrote a review saying the staff was "unfriendly and gave dirty looks," and he posted a screenshot of the review expressing his frustration.
The review posted by the customer who disposed of the diaper read, "The meat tastes good, but I never want to visit again. They were extremely unfriendly, and I felt like I was being watched while eating," and "I don't want to go back again."
He explained, "Is telling someone to go outside to dispose of a diaper considered giving dirty looks and being unfriendly?" and added, "The restaurant is in an office district, and there were restrooms on every floor with three toilet stalls each."
He continued, "In five years, this is the first time someone changed a poop diaper inside the restaurant," and lamented, "Did I do something wrong?"
Netizens who read the story responded with comments such as, "Usually, people ask for permission before changing diapers and take the diapers with them," "It would be good to reply to the review," "Because of people like this, even normal parents with babies get criticized," and "This will make the restaurant misunderstood as unfriendly."
