The personal information of the perpetrators involved in the Milyang middle school girl gang rape case has been consecutively disclosed, causing a significant social uproar. A man in his 30s, who was fired from his job after being identified as a perpetrator, appealed that he and those around him are suffering after the personal information was made public, saying, "I couldn't even drink a drop of water for three days."

On the 6th, a post titled "I am OOO (A's real name), who was investigated during the Milyang incident" was uploaded on an online community. A said, "I feel very sorry that the victims might suffer secondary damage or that old memories might resurface as this case is brought up again."

A was previously identified as one of the perpetrators of the Milyang case by the YouTuber 'Narak Bogwan-so'. There were claims that he was living a luxurious life, working at an imported car showroom, driving more than three foreign cars, and enjoying golf, which became a topic of discussion. After his personal information was disclosed, A was fired from his job and changed his social media accounts to private.

A said, "I think not a single person believes my position right now, but the reason I am writing this is to prevent false stories from spreading." He continued, "Three days ago, I received a call from the person running the YouTube channel 'Narak Bogwan-so'. They said, 'We will post your personal information. You will receive many calls, so please answer the phone well,' and then hung up." He explained, "After that, I received hundreds of calls, messages, and harsh words from various platforms such as Telegram and KakaoTalk."

Additionally, A said, "The next day, complaints were made to the company I was working for, which led to my dismissal." He added, "It was difficult to explain to everyone who called at that time. I was scared and afraid. I had no choice but to delete my SNS accounts and change my contact information."

A also spoke about the verdict related to the case. He said, "At the time of the incident, I was investigated and received community service orders and probation as a result of the trial. I did not hire a lawyer because I had no money or family support to help me." He bowed his head and said, "I do not think I am innocent. Just being included among the 44 people at that time was wrong and problematic."

However, A said, "Many people who look at this case seem to think that only I am living well, so I want to correct the situation." He explained, "I am not the main perpetrator. It is said that I called out the victim through chat, but I have never contacted or messaged her even once. I did not assault anyone with a metal pipe, nor did I torture anyone with chopsticks. I saw the victim outside at the time, but I was not carrying chopsticks." He added, "I am not anyone's right-hand man. I do not own three foreign cars. I only posted photos of cars I sold and delivered on my SNS account." He urged, "Many people are confused by someone impersonating me on SNS. Do not believe what those people say."

A said, "It is true that I occasionally played golf on weekends. Not all 44 people are close. I am mainly close to a few, and not everyone meets every time. I know this explanation is insufficient in writing, but my family and those around me are suffering greatly."

He continued, "I only think about whether the victims' hearts have been hurt more as the case is re-examined, and whether my family and acquaintances have been hurt. Because of me alone, dozens of people are suffering. I hope that those unrelated to me will not be harmed further and will only talk to me."

A said, "The victims must be suffering more, but I couldn't swallow a drop of water for three days and just stayed as if I had a cardiac arrest." He bowed his head and said, "If I am guilty, I will pay the price again. I will live my life serving and giving until I die." He added, "There are many discrepancies between the actual facts and the videos by (Narak Bogwan-so). Victims caused by me continue to appear. I have reported the exaggerated content." He proposed, "It must be unbearably difficult for the victims to have a reinvestigation, but if they are okay with it, I am willing to cooperate with a reinvestigation. I hope that the victims, my family, and acquaintances will no longer suffer because of this case."

Netizens who read the post responded with comments such as, "The victim couldn't even finish her studies properly but is complaining about the damage, it's ridiculous," "It's true that the perpetrator was living well," "How shameless," "He should apologize to the victim again, not us," and "The apology letter he wrote after his personal information was disclosed is transparent."

Meanwhile, the YouTube channel 'Narak Bogwan-so,' which announced it would disclose the personal information of all 44 people involved in the Milyang middle school girl gang rape case, claimed that they contacted the victim's family and obtained prior consent. However, the Korea Sexual Violence Counseling Center, one of the support organizations for the Milyang sexual assault victims, stated, "The victim's side was completely unaware of this until Narak Bogwan-so uploaded the first video about the 'Milyang gang rape case.' They were never asked for prior consent."

Currently, Narak Bogwan-so has deleted the post about 'prior consent from the victim.'
