The appointment ceremony, held online the day before, was attended in person by KT&G President Kyungman Bang, who encouraged and communicated with the members.

The Global Junior Committee is a corporate culture improvement council that leads communication between young employees and management with the goal of creating a better workplace. A total of eight members were selected nationwide from headquarters, sales, and manufacturing through an internal recruitment process. These members will represent the 2030 generation and take on the role of driving organizational culture innovation for about nine months.

The first generation will act as 'KT&G Futurists,' aiming to promote corporate culture innovation at a global standard level to achieve the group’s future vision of becoming a 'Global Top Tier.' Additionally, in response to the business environment where local personnel are increasing due to aggressive global business expansion, they plan to focus on spreading consensus on the vision and changing work methods to establish an advanced corporate culture both domestically and internationally.

The Global CAs will operate organizational culture improvement programs for domestic and overseas institutions and identify and disseminate best practices. This time, foreign employees working overseas, including in Indonesia, will also participate to diagnose and lead changes in the organizational culture of overseas subsidiaries.

President Bang said, "Innovating corporate culture through active communication among employees, including changes in work methods, will be the driving force to realize the Global Top Tier vision," adding, "We will continue to do our best to bring waves of change to corporate culture through various activities and support."
