Choi Ho-kwon, Yeongdeungpo District Mayor, Pledges Commitment to Carbon Neutrality at Environment Day Event

Choi Ho-gwon, Mayor of Yeongdeungpo District, attended the Environment Day commemorative event "Wise Eco-friendly Living" held on the afternoon of the 5th at the central plaza of Dangsan Neighborhood Park.

On this day, many residents, including Mayor Choi Ho-gwon of Yeongdeungpo District, gathered to celebrate Environment Day together.

Mayor Choi also participated in a performance bursting balloons representing the six major greenhouse gases?carbon dioxide, methane, nitrous oxide, hydrofluorocarbons, perfluorocarbons, and sulfur hexafluoride?pledging to practice carbon neutrality with the residents.

Choi Ho-gwon, Mayor of Yeongdeungpo District, stated, “For this Environment Day event, we prepared various experiences and side events that raise awareness of the seriousness of climate change and promote environmental protection.” He added, “We will continue to discover eco-friendly projects such as Ssudajeomppang and installing shades for air conditioner outdoor units, and do our best to create a green city, Yeongdeungpo.”
