Lee Gijae, Yangcheon District Mayor, Attends Resident Briefing on Reconstruction and Redevelopment Plan for Mokdong Apartment Complex 14

On the 5th at 2 PM, Lee Gijae, Mayor of Yangcheon District, attended the 'Mokdong Apartment Complex 14 Reconstruction Maintenance Plan and Maintenance Zone Designation (Draft) Resident Briefing' held at Haenuri Hall in Haenuri Town and delivered a greeting.

The briefing was attended by Mayor Lee, the Director of Urban Management of Yangcheon District, the chief architect, the head of the Urban Development Promotion Team, the head of the Reconstruction Project Department, and about 400 owners of Mokdong Complex 14. The event proceeded with an explanation of the reconstruction maintenance plan (draft), a Q&A session, and collection of residents' opinions.

This Complex 14 maintenance plan draft is the second to be disclosed following Complex 6 in January, and Complex 14 is expected to be reborn as a pedestrian-friendly landmark complex connecting Yangcheon Park to Anyangcheon Stream.

The Complex 14 maintenance plan draft is being carried out through fast-track integrated planning to accelerate the project speed.

Lee Gijae, Mayor of Yangcheon District, stated, "With all 14 Mokdong apartment complexes having passed safety inspections, and following the establishment of the maintenance plan for Complex 6, the reconstruction in this area is expected to gain momentum. We will also spare no administrative support to ensure that other complexes proceed swiftly and sequentially."
