Recently, Momsen shared a video filmed during the performance on her Instagram account. In the video, Momsen suddenly asks the staff for help while singing. Upon closer look, a wild bat was attached to her leg.

When a front-row fan, who noticed the bat late, screamed while pointing at Momsen's thigh, Momsen responded with a calm voice, joking, "Thank you. I'm okay. This will be my new friend now." She also reassured fans by saying, "I must be a witch," and continued the performance.

However, in reality, Momsen was in a very critical condition at the time. Because she was bitten on the leg by a wild bat, she had to receive a rabies vaccination immediately. After the performance, she was rushed to a nearby hospital and reportedly completed the treatment safely.

After the situation was handled, Momsen shared, "The bat was very cute," and added, "Still, I plan to get shots for two weeks to prevent rabies." She also revealed footage of herself receiving the injections at the hospital.

The rabies virus can be transmitted by bats. If the virus spreads to the spinal cord and brain, it can be fatal. Therefore, if bitten by a wild bat, immediate and appropriate preventive measures must be taken at a hospital.
