The Startup-Centered University Project Group at Hoseo University held the launch ceremony of the ‘2024 Chungcheong Startup Venture Forum’ at the Venture Industry-Academic Cooperation Hall on Hoseo University's Asan Campus, heralding the birth of a cradle for venture startups in the Chungcheong region.

The Chungcheong Startup Venture Forum will play a role in revitalizing the venture startup ecosystem by serving as a regional hub university for startup-centered universities, facilitating cooperation and collaboration systems among local governments, corporate support organizations, and the private sector. In particular, it plans to operate various support programs for venture startups, including monthly demo days, investor meetups, lectures, and networking events.

President Kang Il-gu stated, “We will establish a foundation for startup growth and make Chungcheong the center of venture innovation, playing a key role as a regional core startup hub by fostering unicorns and globally listed companies, creating a startup mecca like Pangyo, strengthening VC and AC collaboration systems, and providing opportunities for startup investment attraction.”
